LIFE AT HOME

How are you adjusting to school life at home?

Brendan: “It’s really different and it’s very boring.”

What have you been doing in your spare time to keep your mind occupied?

Brendan: “I’ve been doing a lot of cooking at a restaurant that I work for. I also play video games with my friends to help pass the time, as well as spending time with my family.”

LOOKING BACK AND FORWARD

What are your future plans after high school?

Brendan: “I will be attending culinary school, as well as attending the Police Academy to become a law enforcement officer.”

What coaches have influenced you the most throughout your high school career? Why?

Brendan: “My Dad has been the most influential coach throughout my life, and so has Coach (Dillon) McFall. My Dad has taught me almost everything that I know about basketball. He started me very young shooting the basketball, and teaching me the game to play against your defender, and to change what you do to how they are guarding against you. Without my Dad, I wouldn’t have been so into basketball if he didn’t place so much knowledge and making time for me to go to the gym every weekend and morning. Coach McFall has influenced me to become a better player during my time playing for him, more importantly, becoming a better person in life.”

How much has it meant to you to represent your school’s colors in the sports arena?

Brendan: “It has meant everything to me, and I know a lot of good players before that have worn this same uniform. It has been a honor and privilege to wear it to represent my school.”

What has been some of your favorite sports memories over the years in school?

Brendan: “Winning Sectionals with my family in soccer, scoring 1,000 points this past season in basketball, and shooting bow on game days with my family.”

What’s your farewell message to your underclassmen at your school?

Brendan: “My message is don’t take any time for granted playing for this amazing school, because before you know it, it’s going to be all over with and you will miss it like crazy.”
