LIFE AT HOME

How are you adjusting to school life at home?

Erin: “It’s very different as opposed to going to school, but it’s not really all that bad. I get to sleep in a little longer than usual.”

What have you been doing in your spare time to keep your mind occupied?

Erin: “Along with doing a lot of homework, I also take time out to go on walks with my dogs.”

LOOKING BACK AND FORWARD

What are your future plans after high school? 

Erin: “I plan on attending Alfred State College to take up a major in Forensic Science.”

What coaches have influenced you the most throughout your high school career? Why?

Erin: “All of my coaches have influenced me in one way or another. Whether that be in my sport or how to be a better person in general. All of my AAU coaches, and my high school coaches, they have impacted my life so much, and they mean the absolute world to me. Coach (April) Coloney, Coach (Tom) Parks, Coach (Jon) Beardsley. Everybody.”

How much has it meant to you to represent your school’s colors in the sports arena?

Erin: “It really has meant a lot to me through high school. I have enjoyed every minute of it, and I am so grateful to have been able to play sports for Fillmore.”

What has been some of your favorite sports memories over the years in school?

Erin: “My favorite sports memories would be all of the team dinners that I have had alongside my teammates in basketball season. Another one of my favorite memories is winning Sectionals last year in basketball with my basketball family.”

What’s your farewell message to your underclassmen at your school?

Erin: “Keep working hard and never give up.”
