Lady Lions take care of business back on home floor, roll past visiting Campbell-Savona with four-set Tuesday victory

WELLSVILLE — After coming away victorious in a big Senior Night win over Arkport/Canaseraga right before the weekend, the Lady Lions of Wellsville kept the momentum rolling into the brand new week back on their home floor Tuesday night, as they bounced back from a first set edging to the hands of Campbell-Savona to win the last three to take the four-set victory by a 23-25, 25-21, 25-9, 25-15 count.

On the offensive front, Jaelyn Knapp led the way with a team-high nine kills to go with her five digs on defense, and three aces. Brooklyn Stisser followed behind with eight more kills, and one block. Marley Adams provided six kills, while setter Mattie Buckley dished out a whopping team-leading 23 assists.

Wellsville hits the road Thursday night, as they look for their fifth straight victory with a trip to Canisteo-Greenwood. First serve begins at 7:15 p.m.
