Tuesday Roundup: Alfred-Almond builds big 2nd quarter run in win over Whitesville

WHITESVILLE – The weather put a damper on Whitesville's home opener when they were originally supposed to host Alfred-Almond last weekend. But just over a week later, the roads were clear, and the lights were on in the gym for the Jays to take the floor on Tuesday.

Alfred-Almond dominated all aspects on the floor in the last eight minute period before the half, as they rolled toward a huge 17-0 run of the Jays before it was snapped at the end, as they made their mark on a 52-36 victory, moving to a 2-1 start on the year.
