LIFE AT HOME

How are you adjusting to school life at home?

Brianne: “It’s kind of weird and difficult with people being at home and the distractions with it, but at least when it’s nice outside, I can sit outside and do my work.”

What have you been doing in your spare time to keep your mind occupied?

Brianne: “I have been doing a lot of art, as well as a lot of babysitting and watching Netflix.”

LOOKING BACK AND FORWARD

What are your future plans after high school?

Brianne: “It was a tough decision for me to make, but I’m unsure of exactly what I want to do. I got accepted to SUNY Cobleskill for Canine Training, and Alfred State for Liberal Arts. I’ve decided to stay local and attend Alfred State to start college and get what I need while figuring out my path for later on in the future.”

What coaches have influenced you the most throughout your high school career? Why?

Brianne: “Scott Bledsoe and Aaron Rawady. Coach Bledsoe was my first soccer coach and I’ve never touched a ball until I joined his team on the Modified level. He pushed me and he saw lots of potential, and he made it easy for me to enjoy soccer. Coach Rawady pulled me up for Varsity. I remember being so scared, but then Scott became an assistant coach with Aaron, and it all came to me. They pushed me to be my best and they got me my first and only goal on my Senior Night. I will never forget it.”

How much has it meant to you to represent your school’s colors in the sports arena?

Brianne: “I loved the feeling of putting on my uniform for a game day. When we get off the bus or get onto the field, I just felt great and ready, and that is something that I will definitely miss, especially the color blue. Blue is my favorite color.”

What has been some of your favorite sports memories over the years in school?

Brianne: “My Senior Night. I’ve always been a defender, sweeper usually, and that night, Coach Rawady moved me up. Not only did the coaches believe in me, but my team did too. They kept setting it up and passing it to me. I finally got the ball, saw the opening and I kicked it. My team just came running to me. I was so happy and it was all such an amazing feeling. I also remember when I got pulled up for one of the biggest games of the year, and I was sitting on the bench. Just being there watching it all happen was just crazy.”

What’s your farewell message to your underclassmen at your school?

Brianne: “Always work hard, because it will all pay off. Cherish every time you have to play in games. You never know when you’ll get another chance.”
