LIFE AT HOME
How are you adjusting to school life at home?
Averi: “It’s difficult, but I’m glad we have Zoom because I can wear sweatpants everyday for classes online, and no one could ever tell.”
What have you been doing in your spare time to keep your mind occupied?
Averi: “I’ve been spending a lot of time with my puppies, and taking them for walks outside.”
LOOKING BACK AND FORWARD
What are your future plans after high school?
Averi: “I will be attending the University of Buffalo with a major in Biomedical Sciences on a Pre-Med track with the goal of being a dermatologist.”
What coaches have influenced you the most throughout your high school career? Why?
Averi: “Natasha Brown, because she is the most caring and genuine person that I have ever known.”
How much has it meant to you to represent your school’s colors in the sports arena?
Averi: “Cheering is really special because you get to support other athletes in competition, while doing what you love at the same time.”
What has been some of your favorite sports memories over the years in school?
Averi: “My cheerleading squad did a TikTok dance at our pep rally, and we all had a bunch of fun doing it. It was also always fun to laugh with my team about my lack of gymnastic talent.”
What’s your farewell message to your underclassmen at your school?
Averi: “Go Rebels!”
