LIFE AT HOME

How are you adjusting to school life at home?

Preston: “It has been a tough adjustment to make, but I’m really trying to make the best out of a rough situation.”

What have you been doing in your spare time to keep your mind occupied?

Preston: “Along with schoolwork, I have been passing time by playing video games with my friends and when it's nice out, I’ll go outside and shoot some hoops in the driveway.”

LOOKING BACK AND FORWARD

What are your future plans after high school? 

Preston: “I plan to attend Alfred University to pursue a degree for Mechanical Engineering.”

What coaches have influenced you the most throughout your high school career? Why?

Preston: “John Dougherty. For showing me the love of basketball since I first starting playing for him, and for having such a big impact on my life, and he introduced me to the one and only Jackie Moon.”

How much has it meant to you to represent your school’s colors in the sports arena?

Preston: “It has really meant the world to me. If I had the chance to do it all over again, and suit up one more time, it would be absolutely incredible.”

What has been some of your favorite sports memories over the years in school?

Preston: “I loved all the bus rides with the team. We have done some team bonding at my house prior to every Sectionals. All of my teammates in soccer and basketball have given me such great support all throughout high school.”

What’s your farewell message to your underclassmen at your school?

Preston: “Make your high school experience last as long as possible, because eventually it will come to an end. Don’t take anything for granted.”
