Allegany County Athletic Association announces Fall All-Star Selections; Fillmore’s Templeton, Russell grab 1st Team Class D All-State nods
One season concludes, but another is set to begin. But beforehand, the Allegany County Athletic Association has more honors to hand out before the Fall can officially come to an end, as they officially announced their All-Star selections for boys soccer, girls soccer and girls volleyball.

BOYS SOCCER
Allegany County Division I
Bolivar-Richburg — Reiss Gaines, Wyatt Karnuth, Hunter Stuck.
Cuba-Rushford — Logan Lewis, Jacob Smith.
Fillmore — Mitch Ward, Brent Zubikowski, Graham Cahill, Carter Sisson.
Genesee Valley/Belfast — Matt Weaver (MVP), Trent Scott, Canaan Sullivan.
Allegany County Division II
Scio — Jordan White, Carter Silsby, Ethan Davenport, Brenden Loucks.
Friendship — Jacob Golden.
Hinsdale — Tucker Schwartz (MVP), Damion Brown, Jake Elliott, Noah Easterly.
Houghton — Chris Habecker, Levi Martino, Henry Sardina, Malachi DeGolyer.
GIRLS SOCCER

Andover/Whitesville — Rachel Jackson, Kennedy Bledsoe.

Fillmore — Grace Russell (MVP), Sophia Templeton, Zoe Beardsley, Hope Russell, Rachel Hatch, Preslee Miller.

Allegany County Girls Volleyball
Bolivar-Richburg — Jianna Scott (MVP), Haley Mascho, Kaitlyn Graves.
Cuba-Rushford — Brianna Green.
Fillmore — Emma Cole.
Houghton Academy — Jessica Prentice.
Wellsville — Brooklyn Stisser, Kaylee Coleman, Marley Adams, Jaelyn Knapp.
In addition to their local selections, Fillmore girls soccer also received four All-State nods for their first trip to the State Final Four in 37 years this past Fall, with Grace Russell and Sophia Templeton leading the way with Class D First Team All-State nominations from the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization for Girls Sports (NYSSCOGS).
Following behind was Hope Russell, who earned a Second Team All-State nod, while Zoe Beardsley was nominated for the State’s Third Team.
The Lady Eagles finished a historic 2021 season with a record of 21-1, their seventh straight Allegany County Division I championship and their second Class D1 championship in three years.
